Netanyahu adviser urges voters to back push for Iran regime change
Ophir Falk argues the US and Israel are in the best position to remove Tehran's leadership ahead of Tuesday's ballot.

Ophir Falk, the foreign policy adviser to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, called for the removal of Iran's government in a written message released ahead of the Tuesday election.
Falk stated that removing what he termed the genocidal Ayatollah regime serves the interests of America, Israel, and civilization. He identified the Trump-Netanyahu team as the group best suited to execute that goal. His remarks framed the vote as a choice over who will lead Israel during the final two years of President Donald Trump's term.
The adviser posed a direct question to voters regarding cooperation with the White House. He asked who would best coordinate with the President to finish the work in Iran and expand regional peace. Falk contrasted this alliance with the preferences of Israel's adversaries, listing Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and Iran as groups that want Netanyahu to lose. He added that the American-Israeli alliance has never been stronger while Iran and its proxies have never been weaker.
Trump reinforced this narrative on Sunday evening. The US President posted on Truth Social urging Israelis to support Netanyahu for Prime Minister. He wrote, we have to finish the job that we started. This endorsement came one day before the scheduled vote.
Falk previously told The Jerusalem Post on October 15 that Israel was very close to creating conditions for a shift in power in Tehran. During that interview, he emphasized that Iranians must determine their country's future. His new pre-election remarks did not outline specific methods for removing the regime or provide a timeline for the change.
