President Donald Trump is set to address supporters in Rock Hill, South Carolina, on Thursday. The rally is scheduled for the Rock Hill Sports and Event Center, with doors opening at 9 a.m. Eastern Time. Remarks are expected to begin at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

The visit aims to boost the campaign of Republican Senator Darline Graham. She is running against Democratic challenger Annie Andrews. This event is part of a series of appearances the president has labeled a midterm blitz. He previously visited Greenville, North Carolina, on October 20, and Clemson, South Carolina, on October 21.

Tim Phillips, a VIP attendee and South Carolina native, noted the strategic weight of the second trip to the state. He said the frequent visits suggest the race is closer than the polls indicate. Phillips described the situation as sobering because the state has not elected a Democrat to the U.S. Senate since 1998. He added that he would prefer the Republican lead to be secured early.

Phillips, who has campaigned for Republicans nationally, described the atmosphere at these events as electric. He compared the experience to seeing old friends and noted that the unpredictability of the president's speech adds to the appeal. The Republican National Committee stated that the party is relying on high voter turnout to maintain its hold on Congress.

Most current polls show Republicans have a small chance of retaining the Senate. The president's recent itinerary has focused heavily on endorsing Senate candidates. The Rock Hill event will serve as a key test of turnout in the suburban Charlotte area ahead of the election.
